How to Build a DJ Press Kit (EPK) Promoters Will Read
· 5 min read · Addy Records
An electronic press kit (EPK) is a one-page snapshot that tells promoters and labels everything they need. A good one saves them time — which makes you easier to book.
What to include
Keep it to one page or a simple web link:
- Short and long bio, written in the third person
- Three or four high-quality press photos
- Your best recent mixes and releases
- Notable gigs and support from other artists
- Tech rider — the equipment you need
- Booking contact and social links
Keep it current
Update your EPK every few months. Out-of-date photos or a mix from three years ago suggest you're not active.
